他の学校で３週間ESLを受講した後に、本プログラムを受講しました。
毎日の授業の内容も濃く、始めはついてゆくのに必死でしたが、
先生が授業で必ずひとりひとりに発言を求めるので、発言せざるを得ないという状況に追い込んでもらえたのが、自分にとってとても良い環境だったと思います。
たとえどんな的外れな意見を述べてしまったとしても、先生も他のクラスメートも自分の意見を否定することなく、受け入れてくれました。そんなアットホームな環境だったので、次第に自分から発言をするようになりました。
ESLでは英語だけを学びますが、本コースでは「英語＋ビジネス」を学べるので、TOEICなどで良く出てくるようなVocabularyが自然と身につきます。
また、２ヶ月のうちに３回PowerPointを使ったPresentationをするというのも、自分にとって大変良い経験でした。
まもなく、カーディーラーの会社でInternshipが始まるので、とてもワクワクしています！
RCIISは私のカナダ滞在をより内容の濃いものにコーディネートしてくれました。
カナダで充実した経験を得たい方に、是非お勧めします！

EBCの授業はBusinessのクラスでは詳しく勉強しないことまで丁寧に教えてくれました。
Business situationでの電話応対の仕方やBusiness lettersの書き方など、Businessでもとても役に立ちそうなことばかりでとても楽しかったです。
実際に私も、旅行の為にホテルに直接Informationを聞きたいと思った時に、授業で習ったようにメールをして、Business situationだけでなく、日ごろのちょっとしたメールにも役立てることができました。
Jimもとてもわかりやすく教えてくれましたし、とても小さいクラスだったのでわからない文法や単語などの質問もしやすく、丁寧に教えてくれました。

僕はこの学校で受講する前にESLコースを他の学校で受講していました。そして、より中身のあるビジネスイングリッシュを学ぼうとこの学校へ来ました。
最初に思ったことは講師の質がとても高かったことです。今までの学校では授業の目的がはっきりしていなかったり、講師の雑談で時間を消費することがよくありました。しかし、この学校では学習の意図が明確で計画的な授業が受けられました。
授業では2ヶ月で3回ほどプレゼンテーションを行いました。英語でプレゼンを行うことはとても緊張しましたが、大変良い練習になりました。英語で自分の考えを人前で発表する機会はなかなか少ないと思います。
その後、日本語英語を卒業するためにスタープログラムを受講しました。スタープログラムの先生は俳優と日本で英語教師をしていた経験があり、日本人が苦手としている部分を的確に指導してくれました。この先生でなければあの教え方は出来ないと思います。
学校全体の雰囲気がとても友好的で、よくカウンセラーの方から声をかけてくれました。本当にこの学校を選んで良かったと思います。

This program is specialising in writing and telephone skill.
I'd never seen a class like this class before.I think it is only class specialising business writing and listening in Toronto.
Teacher who has experience working company is very kind.
He taught business etiquette,useful expression,and business basis as well as writing and telephone.
He tried to create friendly atmosphere to ask questions easily.
Furthermore, I learned difference between British English and American English.
And also some acronym eg:ASAP,RSVP,TBD and so on...
I recommend this class!! I'm very satisfied.

When I was in this S.T.A.R Program, I had been ih Toronto about 6 months. At that time, I was disappointed at my impassable English pronunciation. What I really wanted was smooth conversation with native English speakers. so this hope put me into the S.T.A.R program.
During the class, students are encouraged to make an intonation in order to change our sounds clear for native English speakers. For me, since I've been speaking Japanese for many years, most of English vowel and consonant are tough to sound correctly. However, through this program, I've come up with idea of differences of our tongue movement.
This course should give us the oppotunity to know how different each language sound is. To know its difference is one of the most essential things for improvement of pronunciation.
I am really sure that the S.T.A.R program has great features for us.

I have been learning a lot in my internship experience.
When I just moved to Canada, I didn’t even think I would be able to get a job in this country because I wasn’t confident about my English. However, seeing those people working in the same positions and the same conditions as Canadian people encourages me a lot to think positively about my future. Now I can think like, “As long as I try and make an effort, I can get a job here!”

☆I think this lesson works well!
Honestly speaking, I doubted whether if it really helps me to improve my English or not at the first week. But now, I can feel my English is improving little by little. All I can do is to trust the teacher "Juliet" and keep practice.

2007年1月22日からBank of Montrealでインターンシップを始めます。面接では、RCIISで何を学んだか、カナダで何をどんな風に学んだか、カナダでのインターンシップが将来の仕事にどう役立つか、などについて聞かれました。
RCIISのビジネスプログラムを通して、ビジネス場面で自分の意見をどう説明・表現すべきかを既に学んでいたのと、実際に模擬面接を何度も受けていたことが、本番の面接でとても役に立ちました。それに加え、面接を受ける前にDirectorと話す機会をたくさんもて、彼女から大切なﾎﾟｲﾝﾄを教わっていたので助かりました。
この経験を通して、RCIISは全力で私のことをサポートしてくれてたんだと気付きました。心から感謝しています。

I am very atisfied with my days in Canada. Thank you very much for all the things you did for me. I could have a great start at your school.
I really enjoyed my internship. The 2months I have worked there was a blast!
In my department, Human Resources, I had a wonderful manager, very kind and helpful co-wokers and very comfortable work environment.
I appreciate that I could have chances to improve my English.

I would advice all student who take internship to:
・Ask as many questions as needed.
