I've worked for IKEA as an internship student through RCIIS. I've worked in Korea for 2 years, therefore, I wanted to continue my career at IKEA. When I got the job interview, managers let me choose department. It gave me a chance to experience marketing department which I wanted to work at.
Although I had some difficulties having communication with co-workers at the beginning, that didn't last long because English was almost the same as I learned at RCIIS. My manager always helped me as well as co-workers. Especially, she made me understand common English at work better because she was the fastest speaker who I've ever met.
Most of my tasks were organizing data using MS-EXCEL. So I always fought with tons of numbers and information which relate with sales. Sometimes I prepared PR and events, for instance, TV program on Rogers, designing and making coupons and so on.

I learned how to work under Canadian company's system in English well, English communication skill at work and about IKEA. I believe these experiences are going to help me to get better job and I'm going to do my best for it. I really appreciate and thanks to RCIIS and IKEA to gave me great experiences. Thanks a lot.
