I was working as a business administrator in my country, and I decided to leave my job to come to Canada to improve my English and get a better job when I get back to Mexico. I took a Business course in RCIIS for 8 weeks, and now I'm doing my internship in Canadian Tire for 8 weeks. I have opportunities to work in different areas such as HR, accounting and on the sales floor as well. The last one is the most challenging activity because I have to learn about the products they sell to be able to assist customers clearly and nicely. Co-workers have been friendly and patient with me, I'm learning a lot from them too.
This working experience in a Canadian company is great. Now I feel more confident about myself, and I'm sure this is going to be a valuable asset for getting a more challenging job in the future.
